From the moment we booked the tour, our queries were promptly dealt with, we were constantly informed of any updates and he personalised the tour to accustom our needs. Mr Rafiq had over exceeded our expectations, from pickup he welcomed us with joy, lovely clean car accompanied with lots of bottled water for a family of four and customised the itinerary on the day for Abu Dhabi and even stopped at a The Burj Khalifa on the way. He ended up guiding us for 2 hours and driving us back to the airport and refused to take any additional payment beyond the first hour. Graz Graziano373 days agoThose of you who have read my reviews know that I am Blessed to be able to travel frequently to amazing venues. My wife and I planned a 3 week safari to Kenya and as we enjoy Dubai decided to have a 3 day stopover in Dubai prior to traveling on to Nairobi. We have been to Dubai many times and merely looked at this visit as an opportunity to enjoy some Middle East culture as we adjusted to any issues from our 16 hour Emirates flight. Also as Nairobi is only one hour difference from Dubai, it seemed to make sense. During our planning, I decided to book a 6 hour Dubai with ‘Tours By Rafiq’. We did not expect much as we thought we had a very good understanding of this beautiful place. We were wrong! From the moment I began to plan with Rafiq, I knew something was different. His professionalism and wonderful friendliness was apparent in every correspondence. We have had professional guides all over the world…never one this good. Ever! I usually inform guides about the things that we are interested in prior to traveling. After corresponding with Rafiq, I decided to trust him. Wow, what a good decision. Rafiq was even more friendly, professional, and knowledgeable in person. A tour that was to last 6 hours ended up being 9 as this wonderful man took us through every interesting aspect of this ‘city of hospitality’. As the afternoon continued, I asked him where he would recommend that we go for a traditional Arab meal when we returned to our hotel. Instead of throwing a name of a restaurant out, this generous soul suggested that he take us to a restaurant in Old Dubai. Oh my…what a magnificent experience. The food was the very best that I have ever had in the Middle East..and I have lived or eaten in most of the countries here. There was no comparison to anything that we had experienced previously. The food, entertainment, cleanliness, and service was truly the best we have had in this region. We asked Rafiq to order for us and he did so magnificently. This restaurant had very few, if any, tourists…it seemed to be an Arab favorite. What a blessing for us to spend time with this incredible man. I will not enumerate all of the sites that he guided us through…way too many to mention. He did not only accompany us to all of the marvelous places, instead, he provided us rich stories of the history and was an incredible source of cultural and historical understanding. Do yourself a favor, if you are traveling to Dubai for your first or your 10th visit and allow Rafiq to guide you. Today we met a guide but gained a special friend. He is better at what he does than anyone we have interacted with anywhere in the world.+3Posted on Google

He drove us from Dubai to Abu Dhabi and taught us about all the main landmarks we encountered on the way. He offered us the traditional tea and made sure that our tour of the mosque was as smooth and enjoyable as possible. Shared tips and tricks about the best way to experience the visit at the mosque and at the end was there waiting for us to take us back. He was incredibly pleasant to travel with and I couldn't recommend his service more! We've used many different services whilst visiting and his was the one of highest standard! Flight was delayed hence we started our tour at around 1am 😄 still our guide Mr Ali managed to show us around popular tourist attractions. He was patient and knowledgeable about all these places, took nice pictures of us ( that’s a bonus !) and dropped us back at the airport just appropriately in time to get to our next flight comfortably. Rodney Lopez781 days agoMy wife and I just traveled to Dubai as part of a bucket list tenth wedding anniversary vacation. Of course, we wanted every aspect of this trip to be special. When it came to taking a city tour, we couldn’t have asked for a better guide than Rafiq and his team at Tours by Rafiq. When he told us at the beginning of the day, that we would be treated like family, he meant it! Every aspect of our tour was handled with care and we felt completely taken care of from the moment we stepped into his car until our drop off at night. Although the tour included what I’m sure are the standard stops, we never felt like there was anything we HAD to do. Rafiq was flexible and made it clear that if we wanted to switch things up, we could. He also took lots of great pictures on his phone and shared them with us, so we could be more present to what we were doing. One experience in particular is telling. At one point, we stopped at a store to make some purchases. Unfortunately, it wasn’t until after we left and were sitting down at lunch that my wife and I realized that we had drastically overpaid for our items. (It was our fault. We hadn’t done the currency conversion math properly.) As soon as we figured it out, we told Rafiq about it and he kindly brought us back to the vendor and waited with us until we settled everything and even made sure we had some refreshments while we were working it all out. He said: “I’ll stay here until you’re happy!” Having that kind of support while you’re traveling internationally gives you peace of mind. If you’re looking for a great tour experience while you’re in Dubai or Abu Dhabi, we highly recommend Tours by Rafiq! You’ll have a great time!+7Posted on Google
