He warmly took me in like a long lost cousin and we spoke about culture, history, family… We toured many sites in AUH especially the Grand Mosque and the Emirates Palace. Rafiq has a deep knowledge of all that is AUH. He brought Abu Dhabi to life for me. I wish that he could be my guide all over the world, but knowing that his specialty is the UAE, I look forward to asking him to guide me when I visit Dubai, Sharjah, Oman…. He gave us the full experience and definitely went out of his way to accommodate our needs. Esp enjoyed the old photos & film exhibits at the museums and the walk thru the date palms. Graz Graziano376 days agoThose of you who have read my reviews know that I am Blessed to be able to travel frequently to amazing venues. My wife and I planned a 3 week safari to Kenya and as we enjoy Dubai decided to have a 3 day stopover in Dubai prior to traveling on to Nairobi. We have been to Dubai many times and merely looked at this visit as an opportunity to enjoy some Middle East culture as we adjusted to any issues from our 16 hour Emirates flight. Also as Nairobi is only one hour difference from Dubai, it seemed to make sense. During our planning, I decided to book a 6 hour Dubai with ‘Tours By Rafiq’. We did not expect much as we thought we had a very good understanding of this beautiful place. We were wrong! From the moment I began to plan with Rafiq, I knew something was different. His professionalism and wonderful friendliness was apparent in every correspondence. We have had professional guides all over the world…never one this good. Ever! I usually inform guides about the things that we are interested in prior to traveling. After corresponding with Rafiq, I decided to trust him. Wow, what a good decision. Rafiq was even more friendly, professional, and knowledgeable in person. A tour that was to last 6 hours ended up being 9 as this wonderful man took us through every interesting aspect of this ‘city of hospitality’. As the afternoon continued, I asked him where he would recommend that we go for a traditional Arab meal when we returned to our hotel. Instead of throwing a name of a restaurant out, this generous soul suggested that he take us to a restaurant in Old Dubai. Oh my…what a magnificent experience. The food was the very best that I have ever had in the Middle East..and I have lived or eaten in most of the countries here. There was no comparison to anything that we had experienced previously. The food, entertainment, cleanliness, and service was truly the best we have had in this region. We asked Rafiq to order for us and he did so magnificently. This restaurant had very few, if any, tourists…it seemed to be an Arab favorite. What a blessing for us to spend time with this incredible man. I will not enumerate all of the sites that he guided us through…way too many to mention. He did not only accompany us to all of the marvelous places, instead, he provided us rich stories of the history and was an incredible source of cultural and historical understanding. Do yourself a favor, if you are traveling to Dubai for your first or your 10th visit and allow Rafiq to guide you. Today we met a guide but gained a special friend. He is better at what he does than anyone we have interacted with anywhere in the world.+3Posted on Google

Valentina248 days agoWe had the best experience. Muhammad is very kind, attentive to any needs, gave us the history of both Dubai and Abu Dhabi and answered any curiosities we had. He drove us from Dubai to Abu Dhabi and taught us about all the main landmarks we encountered on the way. He offered us the traditional tea and made sure that our tour of the mosque was as smooth and enjoyable as possible. Shared tips and tricks about the best way to experience the visit at the mosque and at the end was there waiting for us to take us back. He was incredibly pleasant to travel with and I couldn't recommend his service more! We've used many different services whilst visiting and his was the one of highest standard! You can enjoy sightseeing comfortably especially in this hot weather. The ride is super comfortable. Amber Mathieson609 days agoWe had a 9 hour layover in Dubai Airport overnight, from 22:30-07:30. We really wanted to do a tour of the city as we had never been outside the airport before, but we were concerned that it wouldn't be possible as it would be during the night! I emailed the company and they got back to me immediately saying it would not be a problem and they recommended getting picked up at 23:30 for a 4.5hr tour. It all went seamlessly. Our tour guide, Majid, was so friendly and kind. He was very knowledgeable and gave us a detailed history of each area/landmark we went past and encouraged us to ask questions which he gave great answers to. We felt very safe and enjoyed stopping at different places to have a walk around. This tour was 100% worth it and we highly recommend it to anyone who has a long layover in Dubai.+5Posted on Google

We learned a lot about Dubai and the local culture, and he made the most of the four hours we had together. When we went to Old Town and the bazaar, he helped us find what we were looking for and gave us excellent tips on negotiating. Alnoor Walji358 days agoI am happy to know that Rafik has registered himself. I met Rafik in Jan 2023 when I booked Magical Dubai via Wingbuddy. He was working with Gray Line(Kurban) tours. Our tour was from Dubai to Abu Dhabi to Al Ain and back to Dubai. Rafik is very knowledgeable guide, he knows history, geography and all the details you need for the area you are visiting. My highest recommendation for Rafik. Whenever we went to Souk (Market); he will guide us and help us to bargain for prices, incredible. Rafik is very good natured person; he went out of his way to arrange tour of Miracle Gardens for about 12 travellers with bus. I would love to have Rafik as my guide for My next trip to Dubai. Hortense Beckford697 days agowell to begin with my trip to dubai were , ,starting with my departure from the air port with Rafiq by picking us up ,while on our way to the hotel he tell us about our routine tour for the next day ,an what to expect for the rest of our tour in dubai ,which was phenomenal .okay starting our tour with Amir was one of the most memorable time ,an experience was great ,going to the desert was something to remember not to mention the sightseeing the Emirates palace was also part of our sightseeing taking us a lots of places including Abu Dhabi an many more my trip to dubai was to celebrate my 60birthday an i did have a magnificent time thanks to you guys for make my birthday a memorable one the reception was great ..Rafiq ,Amir ,an everyone that shower us with love ,the atmosphere was great i would do this over an over again with no regrets my rating to you guys is 5 star ⭐️ straight ,listen anyone who choose to go to dubai i would recommend you to Rafiq for the beautiful tour ,guys , pick up your phone now an make that call the clock for that trip to dubai is ticking don't miss out on it .Posted on Google

He made us feel welcome and comfortable as soon as we met him. Prior to our time together, his correspondence was immediate and helpful. We enjoyed the trip very much and recommend him to others. We also had a wonderful day trip to Abu Dhabi with our driver Zeeshan. He was very professional, kind, and always ready to help.
